And when you believe life is a battle, it will start to feel like one.

Your inner world might feel messy, overwhelming, confusing, exhausting even.
You might be holding onto frustration or hurt that affects how you treat others… and how you treat yourself.
You might feel stuck in a life you didn’t choose and aren’t enjoying.

The idea of living without being haunted by past pain or consumed by worry about the future might seem out of reach.

I thought that too.

The Moment I Knew Something Had to Change

There was a time when I didn’t want to be me anymore.

I wasn’t enjoying life at all. I felt trapped in my own mind. It was scary, miserable and frustrating.

I’d fallen out of love with my business and had no idea what else I could do, or who I even was without it. I cried most days without knowing why. I felt helpless, lost, and disconnected from myself.

On paper, things looked good.
A lovely husband, supportive friends, family, a beautiful home by the sea.
You might have wondered what the fuss was about.

But I wasn’t present to any of it.

I’d been living as if someone else was making the decisions in my life. I didn’t know who I really was or what mattered to me.

That’s when I turned to mindfulness. And everything changed.
